Important Update for Future Homeowners

As of 2026, new construction homes will no longer be permitted to use natural gas. This means that after this cutoff, all new builds will be required to use alternative energy sources—natural gas will no longer be an option.

If you want natural gas in your new home, the time to act is now. In order to lock this in, you must have a signed agreement and building permit in place before the end of this year. That gives us roughly 30 days or less to finalize contracts and secure your permit.
Waiting too long could mean missing the opportunity to include natural gas in your future home.
